Alex's Restaurant Cafe Bar is unique in the city of Wolverhampton - specialising
in Mediterranean food, Arabic and Middle Eastern food...a mouth-watering fusion
of Egyptian, Portuguese, Italian, Greek and Lebanese dishes.
Creating Alex's
Restaurant has been a labour of love for Alex Abdel Aal and his partner Paula.
The couple have left no stone unturned in developing an authentic Mediterranean
experience offering delicious food and drink in a relaxing setting with
first-rate service.
Alex has relished the
challenge of developing Alex's Restaurant in Wolverhampton from a blank canvas,
and he has drawn on his memories of his Egyptian roots by presenting the
types of delicious food that his mother used to cook, using the same recipes,
herbs and spices.
Interviewed recently
Alex said "This is totally unique...we are bringing both sides of the
Mediterranean together through herbs, spices, seeds...Often countries with
troubled histories, but now united by their food"
Alex's Restaurant in
Compton, Wolverhampton seats around 60 people in the relaxed setting of the
upstairs dining area. There is also a downstairs eating area which has
disabled access and toilet facilities.
The Cafe Bar located
on the ground floor seats around 20 people and there is also the opportunity to
dine outside, cafe-style on the canal-side terrace, or relax with a cup of
coffee or a glass of draught Peroni in the company of friends or family.
